Avicii, born Tim Bergling on September 8, 1989, in Stockholm, Sweden, was a highly influential DJ, producer, and songwriter who left an indelible mark on the electronic dance music (EDM) scene. Rising to fame with his 2011 hit single “Levels,” Avicii became known for his melodic and innovative approach to dance music. His debut studio album, “True,” released in 2013, included the international smash hit “Wake Me Up,” which blended EDM with folk and country elements, showcasing his versatility and creativity. Avicii’s work earned him numerous awards and accolades, solidifying his place as a pioneer in the genre and a beloved figure in the music community.
